In the middle of the Pandemic Kalabrese finds his way back to ease, regaining the Rumpelfunk and finalized a new album. „Let Love Rumpel Part One“ is a marvelously light, warm dance. The music goes to the hip and to the heart and automatically we start to dance. From the very first bars it’s clear, that Kalabrese developed his very own signature sound which feels like coming home and diving into the Rumpel universe again. Not to be missed, there is underton of sadness; delightfully melancholic. The song is a ray of hope in the blurryness and uncertainity of the pandemic. There’s a big desire to escape, to turn towards the beautiful things again. Kalabrese’s Rumpelorchester gently strolls off beat through lush and densely flourished city gardens. Kalaspatz’s hopeful lyrics which become totally cute, interplaying in sync with singer Palma Ada. Where although the song is starting out quite blurry, it’s building and progressing into a sunset feeling. A bittersweet cello and a warm brass section in great company on top. An elegant Rumpel-Dance on its way.
